The Hanyang University Institute of International Education is seeking instructors to teach foundation-level Mathematics in English for government-sponsored students from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

 

1. Student Information

Number of students: 6

All students are UAE nationals who have graduated from high school with excellent academic records as government scholarship recipients.

They are currently enrolled in the Korean Language Program at the Hanyang University Institute of International Education.

 

2. Course Content

Mathematics: Foundational topics preparing students for Engineering Mathematics and Calculus at the freshman level of the College of Engineering.

 

3. Teaching Period and Schedule

Periods: September 8, 2025 (Mon) – November 21, 2025 (Fri)
(excluding the Chuseok holiday)

Schedule: 3 days per week, 14:00–17:00
(3 hours × 3 times per week × 10 weeks = total 90 hours)

4. Venue

Lecture room, International Building (Graduate School / Civil Engineering Building), Hanyang University Seoul Campus

5. Compensation

KRW 120,000 per hour

This program corresponds to the Fall 2025 semester. It will also be offered in the Winter semester (Dec 2025 – Feb 2026) and Spring semester (Mar – May 2026), each lasting 10 weeks. Based on the results of the Fall semester teaching evaluation, instructors may be invited to continue in the Winter and Spring semesters.

 

6. Qualifications

Applicants must be majoring in a science or engineering field (Master‘s degree or higher), and able to teach Mathematics in English.

5. 강의료 : 시간당 120,000원
* 본 프로그램은 2025 가을학기에 해당하며, 2025 겨울학기(12~2월), 2026 봄학기(3월~5월)까지 각학기 10주씩 운영됩니다. 가을학기 강의평가 결과에 따라 겨울, 봄까지 계속 강의 할 수 있습니다.
