2022년 2학기 삼성 글로벌 희망장학생 모집
 
1. 지원자격
- 한양대학교 서울캠퍼스 외국인 재학생 중 아래에 해당하는 자 (단 휴학생의 경우, 2022학년도 2학기 복학자에 한함)

- 국적이 DAC List of ODA Recipients*에 있는 개발도상국 출신 외국인 유학생(첨부 파일 확인)

- 가정 경제상황이 어려운 학생
- 한국에서 학업을 마친 후, 본국으로 돌아가 고국에 기여할 의지가 있는 학생

- 차세대 글로벌 리더로서의 자질과 성장 가능성을 가진 학생

- 재단에서 진행하는 각종 교육에 적극적으로 참여할 학생

- G.P.A 3.0(4.5만점)이상인 학생
- TOPIK(한국어능력시험) 3급 이상 소지자 우선 선발
- 정부초청장학생(KGSP)과 같이 등록금 및 생활비 100%를 지원받는 학생 지원 불가

- 잔여 수학기간 한국에서 수업/연구를 수행할 학생

※ DAC 수원국 명단에 있는 개발도상국 출신자라도 한인교포는 제외함.
※ 장학생 다양성을 위해 한 국가 당 장학생 수 한정
 
2. 선발인원 : 2-3명 예정
 
3. 장학혜택
1) 학부생
- 한양대에서 등록금 전액 지원
- 삼성꿈장학재단에서 학습보조비(3,900,000원/학기) 지원 
2) 대학원생
- 삼성꿈장학재단에서 타 장학금 수혜여부에 따라 장학금을 차등 지급함. (3,500,000원~5,000,000원/학기)
 
4. 신청방법

• - 제출 기한: ~ 2022년 7월 22일(금) 낮 12:00까지 국제처(국제관 218호) 방문 제출 (삼성꿈장학재단으로 제출 불가!!)

5. 선발일정
- 신청서 제출: 2022.7.22(금) 낮 12:00까지 국제처로 제출 [근무시간: 10:00~12:00]
- 한양대 서류심사: 2022.7.21.(목) ~ 2022.7.22(금)
- 재단 1차 서류심사 결과발표: 2022. 8. 10(수)**
- 재단 2차 면담심사: 2022. 8. 24(수)~26(금)***
- 최종 결과발표: 2022. 8. 31(수)

6. 지원기간

- 학사과정: 최대 8학기

- 석사과정: 최대 4학기

- 박사과정: 최대 6학기

Samsung Global-Hope Scholarship for 2022 Fall Semester
  
- International Students who currently enrolled in Hanyang University seoul campus

 (Those in leave of absence can apply, only if you re-register in fall semester of 2022)
- International Students from Countries in DAC List of ODA Recipients (please see attached)

- Those in financial difficulty and who intend to contribute their home country after studying in Korea

- Those who have the attribute and potential to become the next generation global leader

- Those who intend to participate in the foundation's program actively

- GPA must be 3.0 or higher (out of 4.5)
- TOPIK Level 3 or above 
- Those who receive a full scholarship including the living cost(ex: KGSP) cannot apply
- Those who plan to remain in Korea for their remaining study/research period

※ Overseas Korean cannot apply even if they are from the DAC list

※ To encourage diversity, there may be limitation to the number of scholars from a particular country

2. Number of Students to be selected : 2~3 students from Hanyang University
 
3. Scholarship
1) Undergraduate Course
- Hanyang University covers a full amount of tuition fee
- Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation(SDSF) provides KRW 3,900,000 per semester for living allowance

2) Graduate Course
- SDSF provides Tuition or academic support scholarships (Minimum of KW 3,500,000-Maximum of KW 5,000,000 per semester)

4. How to Apply
Deadline : 12:00 noon, 22 July 2022 (Thurs)
Please submit the required documents to International Office(#218, International Building) (DO NOT SUBMIT TO SDSF)

5. Selection Process
- Document Submission : 22 July 2022 12:00 noon [office hour: 10:00~12:00]
- HYU Evaluation : 21 July ~ 22 July

- Document assessment result announcement: 10 Aug 2022
- Interview: 24 Aug~26 Aug 2022
- Final selection result announcement: 31 Aug
- Payment of scholarship grants: September 

6. Support period 

- Undergraduate: maximum 8 academic semesters
- Master course: maximum 4 academic semesters
- Doctoral course: maximum 6 academic semesters
