The format of required documents (notarization, apostille, etc.), please refer to the application guidelines.
**Please note that this information is applicable to undergraduate applicants only. Graduate applicants should refer to the specific admission guidelines.**
[Nationality Documents]
1. General
① Copies of your and your parents' identification cards or passports
② Government-issued certificates proving the family relationship between you and your parents (e.g., family relationship certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
2. Single-Parent Household
① Copies of your and your single parent's identification cards or passports
② Government-issued certificates proving the family relationship between you and your single parent (e.g., family relationship certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
③ Government-issued single-parent certificate
3. Divorced Parents
3-1 If your parents divorced before your high school enrollment and did not remarry:
① Copies of your and the custodial parent's (mother or father with custody) identification cards or passports
② Government-issued certificates proving the family relationship between you and the custodial parent (e.g., family relationship certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
③ Divorce certificate (proof of custody)
3-2 If your parents divorced after your high school enrollment:
① Copies of your and your biological parents' identification cards or passports
② Government-issued certificates proving the family relationship between you and your biological parents (e.g., family relationship certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
③ Divorce certificate (optional)
3-3 If the custodial parent, after the divorce, remarried a Korean national:
① Copies of your and your parent's identification cards or passports
② Government-issued certificates proving the family relationship between you and your parent (e.g., family relationship certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
③ Divorce certificate
④ Documentation confirming the remarriage (e.g., marriage certificate)
⑤ 가족관계증명서 of the remarried Korean national (this certificate is issued as a 가족관계증명서(상세))
4. Deceased Parents
① Copies of your and your parents' identification cards or passports
② Government-issued certificates proving the family relationship between you and your parents (e.g., family relationship certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
③ Government-issued death certificates of your deceased parents (Exemption from submitting deceased parent’s identification)
[Educational Documents – Freshmen]
① High school enrollment, expected graduation, or graduation certificate
② High school transcripts for all grades
[Educational Documents - Transfer Students]
1. Community Colleges, Vocational Colleges
① Certificate of graduation or expected graduation from the previous institution
② Transcripts from the previous college
③ Proof of college’s required credit for graduation
2. 4-Year Universities
① Certificate of enrollment, expected graduation, or graduation from the previous university
② Transcripts from the previous university
③ Transcript specifying the GPA of the previous university
④ High school graduation certificate
If you are unable to submit the above-mentioned documents, please download the attached Statement of Reasons, state the reason for your inability to submit, and sign it personally before submitting it.
Please note that, in some cases, the reason provided may not be accepted, and supplementary documents may be requested.
